About the team

Football didn't
have to end.

The Reno Raiders are a men's competitive football team based in Reno, Nevada, playing in the CFCA. We're for the guys who never got the game out of their system — former high school and college players, first-timers who can hit, and anyone willing to earn their spot.

No tryout fee to show up and talk to us. What we ask for is attendance, effort, and someone who makes the guy next to him better. The rest we'll coach.

We're player-funded, which means every dollar goes into equipment, field time, refs, and league dues. That's also why sponsors matter so much to us — see sponsorship.

Recruitment

We need three
kinds of people.

Players

Every position is open. Bring your own cleats and a mouthguard to the first practice; we'll talk gear from there.

Coaches

Position coaches and coordinators on both sides of the ball, plus special teams. Playing or coaching background preferred.

Registration & fees

What it costs
to suit up.

Two payments get you on the field: your team fee, and your separate CFCA league registration. Start with the $20 deposit to hold your spot.

Non-refundable. Comes off your total team fee. Pay this first.

Full team fee for offensive line only. Deposit included in this amount.

Full team fee for every other position on the roster. Deposit included.

CFCA league registration

Paid directly to the league, separate from your team fee. Required for all players.

Before your first practice

Complete all three and you're cleared to hit the field:

  1. 01Pay your $20 deposit to hold your roster spot.
  2. 02Sign the media release so we can use your photo and film.
  3. 03Complete your CFCA registration and pay the $15 league fee.

Three links to wire up. The deposit button needs your payment link (Stripe, Square, and Venmo all work). The CFCA button needs the league's registration URL. The media release should point to something signable — a Google Form, Jotform, or a PDF.
Fees at a glance. An offensive lineman pays $120 + $15 to the league. Everyone else pays $300 + $15. The $20 deposit comes off the team fee, so nobody pays extra for putting money down early.
